According to the 2007b Update of the M8-MSc predictions dated Tuesday, July 03, 2007 –
No alarms aimed at M7.5+ events were identified for the epicenter areas of the August 15 and December 09 M7.5+ earthquakes. Although the last one falls within the limits of a TIP for M8.0+ in CI# 4 (SOUTH OF FIJI ISLANDS) that was in progress, the earthquake scores a failure-to-predict into overall statistics of our Test.
