According to the USGS/NEIC on-line Earthquake Archive Search of the ANSS Comprehensive Catalog in the second half of 2014 there were no earthquakes from the magnitude ranges M7.5+ and M8.0+.
Interestingly, the epicenter of the worldwide largest earthquake in the second half of 2014, i.e. the 14 October 2014 M7.3 – 67km WSW of Jiquilillo, Nicaragua –

– according to “The 2014b Update of the M8-MSc predictions” (sent on Tuesday, August 12, 2014) falls inside the M8 TIP and the second approximation prediction area determined by MSc algorithm for the magnitude range M7.5+ (Figure).
